Interesting. I mean yeah like any bug, the humans are ultimately responsible for it. Finding placeholder stuff in video games is not new, it’s just people are now seeing AI generated placeholder and realizing how prevalent AI is in software now. Which includes games.

I’m a webdev, not a game dev so I wonder if that’s a thing this could be caught in some automated pipeline? I assume it can’t or it’s just a pain in game dev, but couldn’t you mark an asset as a placeholder in some metadata field or something and when you mark a build as a production one it fails?

Is it even a boon to smaller creators? Seems like a single one had a positive take on it. I'm in that Reddit thread and I am excited about better quality prints from DTRPG but this is not the right way of doing it. Shopify doesn't take a 35% cut on your sale to email you a spreadsheet. Cmon Rascal..

To me that was the issue coming in. They had a box with small books. Then books. Then Advanced books. Someone posted a flow chart to decide which one to get and the answer for me was mostly: just get the Advanced books.

I use Advanced but I keep the ancestry as classes.

I remember in school when I started learning programming that English was a terrible programming language and somehow AI coding made it its whole thing. And when things go wrong, developers are told to fix the prompts but keep using the tool instead of just...do the thing. It's baffling.

I’ve been running OSE for a bit now. I also enjoyed Shadowdark before. Great games and they are vastly different.
