Probably need to use the attributes array but I think it might be useable. Maybe Laravel could use some of those 8.4 features once 8.3 support will be dropped. I still dream of Eloquent models with actual properties. Maybe one day.

Why would you enforce mutating through the Laravel update/fill methods that accept arrays instead of mutating the typed properties directly? I still don’t really understand for properties you should write. It does make sense for properties like updated_at as Eloquent handles the mutation itself.

I didn’t experience the EV9 but I’m guessing the build quality might feel a little better than Tesla but the software is probably going to feel a bit worse.

EV9 seems like a very good car to me. Maybe that’s an option for you. Would be way too big for me (and my wallet) as a European, but Kia knows how to build a car.

The framework is still like that. Everything else is entirely optional. I don’t think plain PHP is as powerful, but if it works for you that’s great.
