I’m not Christian in any conventional sense, but I love this thought in John 9:3:

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed in him.”

A good thought whenever I behold something needing fixing.

This reminds me when, a decade or more ago, a woman found herself trapped somewhere and, instead of contacting the police, posted her predicament on Facebook.

More tragically, though, had John contacted the cops, Professor Loureiro may have been spared, no?

Centrist he may be, but he also is among the first major federal officeholders to say we can’t go back to status quo ante. He is saying institutions need to change.
