Figures certainly show I'm very much in a minority in how I use Spotify - mostly as a means of playing individual albums through in full. Maybe a habit that identifies me very much as late gen-x (or older)

Great piece - I've been weirdly fascinated by Spotify streaming numbers for a while now. Was a bit surprised by the Wet Wet Wet numbers - but turns out there are actually 2 versions of 'Love is All Around' - one of which has a quarter of a billion streams.

I was always a spectator - never had any inclination to share my own views with the world, but it went from being a place where I could understand where different people were coming from, to being one where more and more of it was just people being abusive to whoever the OP was...

FWIW, what I used to like about xwitter is that it was a place that you go to get views from across the political spectrum, but of late it feels that it is becoming increasingly over-run by trolls with no interest in putting across a point, just in being abusive to those with whom they disagree...

I considered moving over 6 months ago - but most of the people I want/need* to follow weren't there. In the last week that seems to have changed... *for professional reasons, I find it useful to follow a lot of political types... They all seemed to be on xwitter

Hi - I like the idea of the place, but I use twitter in large part to keep up with the Scottish political village, and not many of them seem to have migrated over here... Hope you and Chris are doing well. And belated happy birthday - welcome to decade 5...
