Watching the first half of the new Iowa’s men team and two things I haven’t seen in a while, a point guard and defense.
I finished playing Avowed yesterday and I really enjoyed the game. It has lovely art, good combat and an interesting story. I particularly liked the weapons. There is a good upgrade system. I used the same bow I found in the first part and didn't replace it until the last part.

I’m wondering if there is a parallel with the Fran firing to Tom Davis. Both were high floor, low ceiling coaches. Davis had more success in the NCAA and Davis was a nice guy. I can’t remember the specifics of why Davis was let go. Did he wear out his welcome in a similar manner?

Book 29 of 2024. Black River Orchard by Chuck Wendig. I’ve read a few books by this author before and this one didn’t disappoint. I love how his books draw you into the story and connect with the characters quickly. This is a great read that is tough to put down.

Last night's Iowa women's game against Iowa St was great. The defense in the 4th quarter was amazing with so many tips and steals. This team is fun to watch. Great to see so many freshmen getting quality playing time.
