Chocolate babka—yeast breads are going a lot better for me since I learned (1) my “lukewarm” water was too warm and was killing the yeast; and (2) using a stand mixer is so much easier than hand kneading.

It’s fall: pumpkin espresso bundt cake. Cake is comfort food.
