In 2017 as whatshisname took office, this drawing emerged from my attempts to remind myself to HOLD ON to beauty amidst my dark thoughts… During that same period a friend died and so this piece, Reminder, became that: a reminder of beauty, frailty, and the cycle of new beginnings from endings.
