I did not order the CD/BR this time. I realized that I pay additional custom taxes upon delivery to my house whenever I order a bundle (LP/CD/BR)… for some weird reason 🤷‍♂️
May get it if/when it’s available locally

It’s been between $25-$35 CAD for me. Makes every vinyl at $80+ and sometimes over $100 like the latest BBT live album. I cannot afford/justify that cost…

It’s about paying the taxes in Canada. When I order from Europe, I don’t pay taxes from the country of origin. In theory I should pay taxes when it gets here. Also in theory we should declare everything we buy from abroad but nobody does. I guess now Canada Post decided to be more strict.

I will need to be patient and wait for new albums to be available at my local record store.
Unfortunately, on top of shipping fees, I had to pay additional taxes/handling fees to Canada Post for 4 of my last 5 orders from outside Canada!! Making each album ridiculously expensive 🙁

It’s very good and I really like it. Leavin’ California, Never Been Down This Road & The Heart Always Knows are absolutely great. I strongly connected with Late Bloomer and for now still prefer it but it’s close 🎶
