Brings me back - at our Catholic boarding school, where the only women we saw from one end of term to the other were 3 nuns who supervised the kitchen, we had lessons in "deportment". Apparently at a disco, one should approach a girl and say "May I have the pleasure of this dance?" Indeed. Forsooth.

But they haven't brought in the legislation that will be required in all 50 states to cover shops rounding up or down to the nearest 2 cents. Here in Ireland we got rid of 1 and 2 cents, and round up/down to nearest 5 cent. Most people use phone tap or cards, where the final amount charged is exact
