I took my 8 year old to a game at Goodison this year too so he could have the same experience that I remember I had as a child. He loved it too and I hope will remember it in years to come after the chance to go again will have gone.

It was an unusual moon tonight. You could see the crescent but also the outline of the whole of the rest of the sphere of the moon too. Really beautiful.

I then headed off and made my way back to the palace where my footman held his nose whilst he helped me into my dinner dress.

I got the same today. Thrilled!
