Today I discovered a really cool resource: the CDLC Direct Access Pass.This enables you to access journals etc at participating libraries, without needing another library card. It's perfect for someone like me who wants access to scholarly articles for presentation purposes.

Teach your kids how to set and hold boundaries. Respect the boundaries they set.

If you don't, they'll land in my office in their 20s and 30s, convinced that having boundaries is bad and that someone getting mad at them means they shouldn't set the boundary.

A common theme I hear among my clients is guilt or shame for not "doing something" when something bad happens to them. Or shame about perceived pressure to "do something" to solve a situation that is ultimately out of their hands. I notice my own internal pressure to "do something."
