Or he doesn’t care whether it is true or not, as long as it is useful. Maybe somewhere in between - seems to have enough discernment left to eliminate those hanger-ons who aren’t actually useful to him.

… actually believing what he says

Curious of where this take comes from. Why not just believe that Trump says whatever he wants in order to justify his “revenge” tour? He’s made up stuff his entire political career. Why “credit” him with being manipulated and believing it now?

Read the text before looking at the picture. Thought that you were referring to an opinion. Kind of makes sense either way 😀.

Unfortunately, it seems that possums don’t actually eat ticks. Erroneous conclusion from a flawed study? since debunked? Do a search to verify.

Went through my angry phase during the lead up to (and execution of) the Iraq War, so ~20 years ago. Kinda of burned it out of me. What’s left is some low-level anger but more amazement (of the electorate voting for a message of hate) and fear for others.

The one I have reread the most often the past 5-10 years: “Freedom and Necessity” by Brust and Bull. Guess this is one measure of “favorite”.

In some sense, Trump is a lame duck now? Not being able to run again, will at least the GOP senators start being more independent? The House would have to wait until after 2026.

Check out “Spread The Vote” (spreadthevote.org). What I like about this effort is that ID is for more than just voting (critical for so much). I get tired of giving to politics-only campaigns when people are hurting.

Misread this as counting authors, not decades 😀 (not sure why - it was perfectly clear). Thus my reply to your post in particular. Sorry about that.
