A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

Alberta is still approving Coal Mines in our beautiful pristine Eastern Slopes! This is pitiful ignorance of long term impacts. Australia’s Ms Gina Rinehart one of the richest woman in the world has bought her way into Alberta UCP resource decision processes…Unforgivable! @searleturton.bsky.social
Terrible decision out of Saskatchewan today. There are so many better things to spend $1 billion on than keeping polluting, asthma-causing, coal plants open. Literally any other course of action would make more sense than this.
Saskatchewan’s decision to invest nearly $1 billion in coal power is from an era that’s long gone. Not only will it accelerate the climate crisis in the middle of 🇨🇦’s second worst wildfire season on record, there are plenty of options to replace coal. www.theglobeandmail.com/business/art...

Three dead grizzly bears, near misses on railway in Banff National Park this summer
“As a wildlife conservationist, it’s deeply disturbing that we can’t keep Alberta’s threatened grizzly bears alive in our flagship national park,” said John Marriott.

Fox News Reporter Jacqui Heinrich: The way that it felt in the room was not good. It did not seem like things went well. And it seemed like Putin came in and steam rolled, got right into what he wanted to say and got his photo next to the president and then left

Sora are listed as Sensitive in #Alberta, but they are found throughout the province in most every large wetland with grassy/sedgy/cattail margins. Learn their vocals and you'll be surprised how often you come across them.

📌Yer goddamned right I am politicizing these gruesome deaths in Texas. The grotesque GOP ghouls have degraded the NWS and treated climate change as "a hoax."
They have ignored the warnings time and time again.
Their proud stupidity and limitless evil is DIRECTLY responsible for this latest tragedy.

@fisherspeaks.bsky.social Hello Chris, I took this Sora photo while watching a Loon nest here at Crimson Lake. Can you confirm. How rare is this here in Alberta. I’ve never in over 25 years of watching Loons ever seen a Sora. I do see them in San Carlos Mexico 🇲🇽… All the best to you
