In #Senegal, the Enhancing Global Health Security project made strides toward improving the quality of #meningitis data by integrating laboratory results with surveillance data. In 2024, PATH trained 100 health workers on a newly developed @dhis_2 E-Tracker module. (10/11)

To accelerate #malaria elimination in #Nigeria, the MOH partnered with PATH for assistance in developing a pragmatic, costed operational plan. In August, PATH co-hosted a meeting to frame this plan with key stakeholders and Director of Public Health Dr. Chukwuma Anyaike. (8/11)

In 2024, PATH celebrated 20 years of malaria partnership in #Zambia. Since 2004, PATH has led several large malaria projects supporting the NMEC, including MACEPA and PMI PAMO Plus. MACEPA has helped build a network of 25,000 CHWs across Zambia - like Margret Chalo below. (7/11)

Partnering with the Central African Republic (CAR) Malaria Control Service (SLP; building pictured), MACEPA conducted a capacity assessment of the SLP in 2024 and is launching an in-depth malaria surveillance assessment - PATH's first-ever partnership with CAR. (6/11)

As part of the ATSB project and in partnership with the Zambia National Elimination Centre, PATH’s entomological surveillance team collected #malaria-transmitting mosquitoes using light traps and sent them to the PATH Kaoma entomology lab for analysis. (3/11)
