Orion and Cyro have spent A LOT longer than that together. Orion is 244 and Cyro is 240, fulfilling their destinies... together💙...

They're now known as Father Time and Death.

I decided to do smth a little different. I decided to mix some Porter Robinson-esque atmosphere, Au5 composition elements, and my "Timelines" styled melodies.

Right now, it's Drum n Bass, but once it's done, it'll be Dubstep.

After taking a 2 week mental break, I'm back on development!

In terms of what I've been doing, I started making the designs and layout for the in-game interface.

Analyze now has a new element, Learning!

Now, depending on how well you play, Cody will LEARN, which can improve or degrade his ability to find the shortest path, with the Neural Algorithms (formerly Brute Force)!

So not really a goof but definitely something funny.

I was looking at Factory Turing from top view, and I realized... it kinda looks like a MAU5 head, were it sharp and geometric!

This gives me an idea... 🤔

Making great progress on Factory Turing!

For a place built for manufacturing parts, repairing Compu-peeps, and upgrades, it's really lively.

A lounge to wait for when an appointment comes up, plants to bring more life into the factory, and so on!

A couple days ago, I mentioned in the comments of the Threading Algorithm post that it would not always find the shortest path by design.

Turns out the distance calculation was inadequate because Manhattan would return equal values often.

It now uses Euclidean. You're guaranteed the shortest path.

I just finished the strongest Analyze algorithm in Bit Rush: Assembly, Threading!

With Threading, you're GUARANTEED a path, with a high chance of being the shortest path.

FYI: You won't have this at the start, you have to unlock it.

I finished updating Tasks in Bit Rush.

Now, tasks will not only be able to check for changes when needed, in real-time, but are also redesigned to create multiple types of tasks!

To get more details in place, I finished making all the icons for components, and have started on the image texture for Blueprints.

This is really fun! Especially since the actual blueprint look is cool!

I added a new algorithm that can solve non-linear paths and intersections, Marching.

Marching is the first of 3 algorithms Cody will use to try and find a path when using Analyze (Formerly Evaluate).

I just finished the last mechanic in Bit Rush: Assembly, Evaluate!

Now, Cody will tell you how to get from one component to another.

However, the path is made REGARDLESS of whether or not components are compatible! It has a cooldown too.

Other than being computers with arms and legs, they all have their one models and fields of expertise.

Cody's a Quantum model, category Apollo.

Last night I was up until 5AM fixing bugs and improving features😬.

Now though, I got another of the important features done: Quality Degrading!

Every move you make degrades the board. Max out degrade and you lose the board!

Moves cannot be undone so be careful!
