Alas he is my sister’s dog and dogs on the reservation tend to not have the longest life expectancy. So there would hard conversations to be had.

I stocked up flour. Got some big bags of Costco AP and divided them up into 1 gallon bags and put them in the freezer. It’s not Cairspring organic bread flour but it still makes bread.

Because my mom died suddenly at home it took us several weeks if not a month to even get a death certificate to even start all the paperwork. It’s all nuts.

Truly amazing how difficult it is. My sister and I had to hire an attorney to navigate the system.

I have a string of pet losses from December to January and used to love cooking Thanksgiving/Christmas for my mom so yeah the holidays are sad.
