Malvineous got back to me as well. We suspect the copies of Spelling Fun One and Number Fun One that can be found on a number of abandonware and DOS gaming sites are from his originals. He doesn't have the others of the set, but he was happy to learn Lex is archived, thanks to you 😁

It must be done, for science 😭 This might have been Reckon's last edutainment title, as it's the only one listed in their catalogue in 1998 (via Wayback Machine, Jun 10 capture) By December, it was no longer listed

I am 100% here for this Reckon Software rabbit hole. The earliest Wayback has for reckon.com.au describes them as a re-publisher of "five British software products" in 1987. They clearly published local Aussie originals too, before pivoting to accountancy software. What other gems are they hiding?

Lex the Wizard pointing at CGA colour palettes was burnt into my brain from a young age. It taught me the most valuable lesson that CGA games didn't _have_ to be ugly in white/cyan/magenta 😅 I remember, at a later age, playing Defender of the Crown and recognising the same CGA palette

I'm pretty sure I only had Lex as a kid. I'm just looking at the info Fun1.exe shows 🙃 Turns out if you drop the files for each game in the same directory, the launcher finds them, so the full pack can be recreated if Word Fun 1 is located!

Labor's policy platform does not reject new coal mining propositions. Their housing crisis remedy is a joke. They have made no commitments to improving Medicare or the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. They have ignored the needs of people receiving the Disability Support Pension or NDIS supports.

We have to acknowledge that the fight for equality and equity is not over. Albo cosied up to Trump's dictatorship, citing historical alliances. He has not spoken out against the genocides currently ongoing in the world. He threw trans and other LGBTQ+ people under the bus.
