can't join the ojibwe nation is because they have a strict "you must have a parent enrolled AND be at least 1/4th Ojibwe" rule. Which is fair enough, but it's certainly stricter than I've ever heard of. She IS 1/4th Ojibwe but we can't legally prove her lineage because her grandfather isn't on her
