Here's a very unfinished version of the Rocket animation I started months ago. I tried to export it to my new program, but between that not working and how long it's been since I worked on it, I can't bring myself to wrap it up
maybe eventually but goddamn finishing this animation could end me

because you'll end up wasting time doing things that don't get you closer to where you'd like to be, and the stress just makes it not worth it
and by the end you've used so much gas trying to get there that it just ruins your day.

well i showed up to my job to be told everyone's getting laid off and the company is folding. effective immediately.
so i guess all those hate comments on TikTok now got weight behind em, gotta start looking at job applications or freelance 🥲

i visited a Pixar exhibit years ago. the theme was that studio always tinkers with something new in every movie (textures, water physics, hair physics)
i try to apply that to my art ever since i started. big or small, trying something new each time helps me grow, even if i don't get it right away ❤️🩹
