While I'm pleased to see someone from "the other side" finally reach this realization, we've been screaming these points at the tops of our lungs for decades and nobody listened to us. Making abortion illegal doesn't stop abortion, it merely makes it less safe.

Look! Intelligent, reasoned discourse with correct facts from a politician! Canada really does do things differently than we do! I love my country but for a moment there I really wanted to be Canadian.

When I first saw this I thought it was a hoax. It had to be right? No sane person would be for this! But no, it's everywhere, reported pretty much every news site. My aunt had Polio. I wonder if I can get her to DC to testify that "it's bad"? This is just insane.

We cannot go forward like this. It appalls me that he even THINKS about removing the Polio vaccine from being available to Americans.

He's also got 13 other vaccines in the list, including ones that include polio in combination with other diseases.
The last case of Polio in America was in 2022, from a traveler who got it elsewhere. This is a horrific disease and you wouldn't want it, nor for anyone to have it.

The man is incapable of admitting he was wrong. On any topic, even ancillarily. He will never ever admit he lost because that would be admitting he was wrong about something.

(I really want to point out that I got the best image of the General as I could and I actually took the time to get ALL of his ribbons accurate, even at that scale. Which is why he's simply copied to panel 3 as that was a lot of work. :))

I found an ENT who agreed to remove it using a relatively new laser procedure to cut down on healing time. Submitted to UHC. Got back a denial that even though their top medical Dr agreed it was necessary they were not going to cover it. Had to pay $17k out of pocket.

Nearly every day. To the point where sometimes I fell down as my eyesight shrunk to smaller and smaller windows. Naturally this freaked my co-workers out as it looked like I was going to choke to death every day after lunch.

Years ago I had an enlarged uvula (the little thing that hangs down in your throat). It would literally sit on my tongue, it was that long. Every time I ate, the uvula would be irritated and get even bigger. I would choke on my uvula.
