Lack of care and interest because circumstances related to poverty are alien experiences. Lack of imagination and desire to help those less fortunate a central tenet of Christian values.

This happens when opposition has no alternative economic solutions so retreat to personalised attack. It is deeply unserious and does a grave disservice to prospects of country.

I do not think that whatever is decided in the budget will be discussed in any impartial way. With media looking for sensation etc any economic anaylsis will
be limitied to discussing personalities.

Totally agree, this type of policy is racist and inhumane. Is anyone able to stand up in Cabinet and speak out?

It is so dreadful to think of NHS staff facing abuse and anxiety going to work. Those who have any power with regard to flags should rectify this.

The struggle to retain workers,guards on the railways was so difficult in those past years now we know the benefit of the heroic intervention of those people to protect the lives of people.

Just part of a repackage same policies that will reproduce same results for the many . Reduction of public services austerity type outcomes for so many who are struggling with costs.

From my simplistic brain as you say really the whole fabric of capitalist interests works against the common good of the individuals in the country. We need progressive policies to provide a future that supports wellbeing of all.

Populism and lack of intellectual rigour in journalism and government to seriously challenge such racist views are now affecting adversely the common good where every individual regardless of race or colour should be respected.
