Alberta's emissions increase by 49% 1990 to 2023,Ontario's emissions decreased by 22% 2005 to 2023,Quebec saw a 7%. Sask and British Columbia also experienced reductions of 8% and 4%, respectively, from 2005 to 2023. Until Alberta gets on board, nothing we do can offset their emissions.

No shit. And it’s not because of the private sector. We need alignment on the goals and government leadership.
Right now, to stay at 1.5degC we need to reduce our emissions by half in the next 10 years, and to almost nothing in the 5 year after.
If we had leadership, we could do this.
