People. I’m not defending this persons qualifications or her salary because I don’t know that much about the organization. BUT… Research any type of med/large private corp and—right or wrong—a $1M salary is not what aspiring CEOs are looking for.

I’m not defending her salary (or her skills) but hate to see people decide not to donate to a worthy cause when some details may be missing from this limited information.

I don’t want to defend this but I do know that quality and complex charities need and deserve the best directors they can get. How does her salary compare to the total annual revenue? According to Siri it is 4.9 B in 2023.
