Seen people complaining that it isn't dark/ serious enough, that it's too unrealistic in parts, that it's too cheesy and too cliche.

It's like that on purpose. Those aspects are features, not flaws!!!! ahhhh !!!

I getchu, there's a few things I feel bitter about, but only because there was something unpleasant that came of it. I somewhat liked Harry Potter, but I don't and wouldn't want to to like it again after all JKR has done.
