#watercolor #art I painted these today using my old driver license, a silicone tool for blending oil pastels, and a dip pen and India ink. Each uses a 4-color palette of Benzimidazolone Burnt Orange, Phthalo Turquoise, Sepia and Neutral Tint.

Life is funny. I've been blogging as a full-time job since 2007. And in January of this year, I began painting as a way to relieve stress. And now, I make art. And people are loving it and buying it. At the very least, it's a new side gig. It's nuts, but also awesome! #painting #art

Y'all, I have started to draw again. I hadn't drawn anything in decades, but we took a Bob Ross painting class in December, and I enjoyed it so much I signed up for a monthly SketchBox. Between that and some other supplies I own, I've drawn these. I am so, so happy to be drawing again! #art #drawing

Die Hard is, indeed, a Christmas movie. My mug says so!

When I started food blogging in 2007, and for years, I hated the photography part. I started as a pastry chef and before that, I was a special ed teacher. I never wanted to be a photographer. But my pix were crappy. So I've been reshooting. I'm proud of this one. Hot chocolate custard. 😋
