so basically these two are different viewports. i just set up the left one's offset so it looks like it's always at the edge of the previous one (made the middle one red so it looks more clear which where the viewport ends)

update: after reworking it, it now runs smoothly on bigger room sizes. im loading a 900000x900000 room rn and it still runs like butter (unlike yesterday when it struggled to manage 10000x10000)
