I grieve many things about having to step away from ministry for these last 5+ years. Still, I do now have a professional-grade digital audio converter and legitimate studio monitors. I love music, and I love hearing every little detail.

I miss the smell of cheap plywood and glue that breezed into the room when you really cranked the stereo.

I could put a sensor on my board. When it crosses +10 dB, a little fan will kick on –blowing air across a special blend of glue and plywood sawdust, venting a fabulous remembrance of the 1980s.
