What about our impoverished communities, like the wonderful folks our church serves through the Angels on Assignment food pantry? I mean, we feed approximately 10% of our city's population through AoA. Is a tenth of my hometown not worthy of adequate nutrition?

Wasn't the line from this admin about ending foreign food aid that we'd spend this money on Americans instead? Are we here in rural southern Illinois NOT Americans? Do our students not deserve access to fresh produce?
