Christmas decorations are up! Only a small tree this year—the one in the craft room. But the presents are wrapped and there’s a wreath on the door.

People ask me how I’m doing. Well, I think. It will be four months the day after Thanksgiving. This week I had the first day that I have not wept in grief. Only one, but it’s a welcome sign that my soul is making progress.
