Thank you!! I’m loving everything the pattern designer Maria Schei Mogenstad is creating, I plan on making this cardigan by her as well next.

Ooh, that’s super cute but I have SO many hats, I’m thinking I might try to incorporate it into a cowl or even as an accent color in a yolk. Thank you for the suggestion though!

#2. Seven skeins of local, hand-dyed DK weight yarn from Sanctuary Fibers for a Willow Pullover by Andrea Gaughan. (My first bottom up sweater!) 🧶 #knitsky #showmeyourknits

That makes sense! I made the mistake of knitting this with a super wash before learning that super wash loses its elasticity after blocking, so I had to reinforce my collar with elastic. Part of the learning process! Also learned a lot about grist. 😅🩵

Thank you! Absolutely, it’s the Bloom Pullover by Brianna Mason. It’s relatively new, only released in February! www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
Bloom Pullover pattern by Brianna Mason
The Bloom Pullover is a wintry floral colorwork sweater with a cozy double folded neckband. Knitted in a lofty yarn, this sweater is warm yet lightweight for the coldest of winter days.

It’s looking beautiful! I promise it’ll get easier and you’ll know the pattern by heart in no time. Mine lives at my office and is so cozy, I get a ton of compliments on it too.

So I just checked and it’s actually not a 9in cord I think it might be 10” or 12” (sorry it’s hard to measure with the stitches on it haha!) but my shorties are 3.5” too so inevitably I’ll be in your boat as I continue to decrease hah!
October 3, 2025 at 4:53 PM
Currently I’ve got the sleeve on shorties and a 9” cord, inevitably I’ll probably have to move over magic loop since I don’t have DPNs in this size! Thank you!! 🩵🧶

#wipwednesday Getting the sleeves done before Rhinebeck! I was able to get some elastic to reinforce the collar too. 🧶 #knitsky #showmeyourknits
