2. There are missables in the game, most importantly characters. If you want the perfect ending, you gotta recruit all of them.

In Suikoden 2 there are some times you have to make a choice between two options. You will not get the other character but they count as one.

1. If you want to go with the canon name of the protagonist in the first game, it's "Tir". :)

OMG. Ich dachte ich wäre der einzige Mensch, der diese Meinung hat. Ich finde Story und Charaktere im Spiel nämlich auch überhaupt nicht gut. Audiovisell top, Kampfsystem ist völlig i. O., aber am Ende langweilt man sich irgendwie.

It seems pointless to many (since you cannot prevent encounters by having this visual) but I honestly already used it to my benefit by timing my grinding with the ▼ to basically get my level-up & instantly change the screen to fight the boss.
