Influencers should put their money where their mouth is. Prove you’re appalled & regret your vote by attending protests. Organize your base. Call everything out with a megaphone. “Oopsie” doesn’t cut it. Lives are being destroyed home & abroad. They can & should do more if they’re sincere.

The 2 day weekend and retirement age are relatively new concepts, and I for one am grateful they exist.
The real problem is that these hours tend to be dehumanizing. I'd rather have 60h/wk of meaningful work, than 40h that don't mean a thing.

I was advocating for that all along. I'm starting to think that was a mistake, and that an accelerationist view would have left politics in better shape.

This was their argument for the past 3 elections - they only won one of them, and it took a global pandemic with millions of deaths for that to happen
