At our Airbnb, my wife turned the key correctly but couldn’t open the door. I did it effortlessly. Opening the door requires a quick pull toward you, immediately followed by a push.A micro-gesture so ingrained in my muscle memory!

1) The old Metro door:
If you’ve never been shown how to open one, you might never figure it out. Your only options are to Rush to another already-open door Or wait and closely observe someone else. You must firmly lift the handle up, then move it to the left.

I stumbled across this photo from the wrap party for #RainbowSixSiege! The game was about to be released, and we knew we had something exceptional on our hands. 10 years later, I'm still lucky enough to work with some of my former colleagues. And even better, I'm still friends with some of them.

As classic fans of #HomeAlone 1 & 2 (not 3 & 4), we were very hesitant to watch #HomeSweetHomeAlone... and...sorry internet, controversial take: It is not that bad at all. It has given us what we expected from a good remake.

(Re)-Reading the 3rd edition of “Don’t Make Me Think” by Steve Krug. In Web/Mobile People don’t like to be puzzled about how to do things. UX Designers must master the art of “Don’t make me think". In video games, UX Designers must team up with Game Designers – the specialists of “Make me Think”.

I thought the concept of “#MagicCircle” was coined from Rules of Play (2004/Salen&Zimmerman):"the space in which a game takes place, where players accept special rules temporarily set apart from ordinary life." In Homo Ludens (1937/Huizinga) it's explicitly named and described.
