Christmas mass in a local Roman Catholic church. Masses in Christmas time are usually crowded with additional "napas" parishioners. A portmanteau of Natal (Christmas) and Paskah (Easter), it refers to people who attend masses only on those two special occasions.

Here in Indonesia, parents who have more money send their kids to private school, even with the fact that it costs significantly higher than public schools. The popular private schools are usually religiously backed or have an international curriculum.

The "bandeng" fish. Slow cooked until all the bones are so soft you can eat them. We usually have them with rice, our staple. Some Indonesians consider every meal without rice as snacks.

Motorcyclists here in Bandung try to squeeze into even the smallest space on the road. Therefore the authority reserves the space at junctions with traffic lights. When it goes green, they have priority to move forward first.
