South Carolinian, born and raised, who has lived up and down the seaboard!!

Unitarian by nature. Trying to be an example. Cat(s) mom. We are all God’s children.
I do love Star Trek, although not the original series, even though I have a special place in my heart for Spock. I was more of a Next Generation fan. ... so I was biting my nails on this one.

I have to share one week ago - on a quest looking for mirrors - I visited an old go to spot, Habitat for Humanity Restore in Rock Hill, South Carolina. While I didn’t find the mirrors I wanted, I did find a chair, matching one that I have yet to repair, and 4 eclectic barstools, picture below. 1/+

So true. And here this idiotic administration is trying to call the Indians “illegals” so to speak and non-birthright citizens. You know, the Indians “we“ stole the country from. What BS. Context in next comment. 1/2

I saw this painting earlier this year after not seeing it for close to 20 yrs. I wept. Years ago, the crowd were smaller and I could stay there for 30 minutes, just staring at the layers of paint and that impact. Now it’s in a brighter room, something to see and not necessarily experience.

My first ever post on BlueSky was my tortoiseshell cat Sadie sitting on the center console of my car having beat herself out of her carrier. The other cats, all who were singing the song of their people, calmed down to see her so relaxed. Next up in the life of cats: paper bags. One in and one out.

A cat who would not be contained by a carrier. She beat herself out of it and spent two hours sitting next to me staring our the front window as we moved from one city to the next.
