How to prevent AI-assisted testing from harming software quality
AI doesn't think like you. It cannot weigh your risks or context. If you outsource your judgment, you create blind spots that damage quality.

Tired of shallow AI-in-testing stuff?

This guy goes deep 🔥

Karthik KK was my first mentor in automation. His YT & Udemy courses taught me the real stuff.

Now he’s coming LIVE w/ #ShiftSync by Tricentis ! 💥

The smartest leaders in history never made decisions alone.
👑 Kings had councils.
🏛️ Governments have expert panels.
🧠 Why? Diverse minds = better outcomes.

Now imagine having your own council...
But instead of people, it’s made up of the world’s best AI models.

My take on AI agents (especially in testing):

Not every problem needs a fully autonomous system.
Sometimes, what you really need… is a smart assistant, not a decision-maker.

Testing is one of those problems.
The human must remain in the loop.

Why? Because testing is judgment.
And judgment...

How do you ensure you remain “unhirable” as a tester?

It might sound counterintuitive, but here’s a checklist of habits that could be sabotaging your career:

• Neglecting Your Craft: If you’re not constantly sharpening your skills, you’re setting yourself up for stagnation.

If used wisely, you can use AI to automate the automation.

That's like 100x efficiency.

What needed a team of engineers can now be done quickly

(but the catch is you need to know what needs to be done)

Here’s a harsh truth about learning:

Most of you're learning super slow. You will easily forget what you learned if you don't put it into action against real-world challenges.

When you put learning (theory) into action, the real learning happens!

Debugging a failing test is like navigating a narrow lane.

🧵 Testing tools aren’t just about UI or API automation.

Too many testers focus on the basics, but there’s a world of tools that can boost efficiency, creativity & rigor in our testing activities.

Here’s a snapshot of some game-changing tools I use: 👇

Testers, Are you ready to learn and leverage Gen AI?

Gen AI is everywhere - on your social feed, in your tools, maybe even in your work coffee ☕ (okay, not yet! 😆)

The question is: Are you ready to learn, understand, and use AI in testing?

Myth: I do not need professional testers.

Reality: Almost everyone is capable of doing testing to some degree.

However, the risks of poor or low-grade testing cannot be reversed. Time won’t run backward so you can roll back your decision.

Customer perceptions are hard to change.

Happy testing!

Test planning is a common testing activity, yet every project and test lead does it with their own flavor of experience, context, and testing awareness.

* What do you consider when doing your test planning?
* How do you document it? In Jira? or In other doc?
* Do you also include ET in test plan?

Haha nice! I'm really liking the MoT profiles. It's like a directory of quality and testing professionals, with a catalogue of their work! Like @parwalrahul.bsky.social said, you can also use them as a kind off portfolio. Really nice idea.
