Making art, reading books, trying to protect nature (humans included) and other things in between.
I'm using gems as a theme to practice blending pencils. It's funny that I thought the black pearl would be harder than the white one. Boy, was I wrong...

"Trapped in Amber"
Quick question: What does this image make you feel?

Asking because I'm not sure how I feel about my own illustration. 😅

I love illustrating songs. So many songs give me visual impressions, and I have great fun putting those images to paper. This one was inspired by the song "Take me to Church" by @hozier.bsky.social I just adore that song and how powerful it is. 🖤🩶

So apparently there's #artshare on Thursday.
I've learned to appreciate my art more this year, so I'm happy to see that it was hard to choose favorites. 🤭

Another color pencil illustration from earlier this year. I found this spider in my backyard, and that blue on its back caught my attention right away! 💙

I do a lot of work with color pencils. This one was based on a dream I had. It was quite vivid, and before I fell back asleep I thought "I have to draw it!" 😅 Do you remember your dreams?

Last month for Halloween I started playing with charcoal again. Brought Gollum to life to scare everyone a bit.

An exercise on symmetry with charcoal. Who else likes messing their working space with charcoal?

What's up, you clouds in this Bluesky? I'm looking forward to connecting to others that like me want to share their art in a safe place.
