Maybe someone already is, but Democrats ought to be writing "Project 2029" with a detailed plan for the future of our government. It should be more than list of reversing all the damage done by the current administration. For example, what should immigration and health policies be?

A lot of people own many guns and interpret the 2nd amendment as enabling citizens to defend their freedom from the government when it acts to deprive them of it. Where are these people now when the gestapo ICE agents are doing exactly that by force of arms and numbers?

Trump says the Epstein files should not be released because they are very boring, and that a lot of them are fake. How does he know, if they don't exist? Boring or not, let the people decide for themselves. Release the files!

Talking about random thoughts, how about splitting California into 2 states, North and South, and consolidating the Dakotas. This would maintain 50 states (no need for everyone to get new flags), and make the Senate much more representative.

Trump speaks any random thought or fantasy that occurs to him, but he is surrounded by sycophants who are afraid to say no when it violates the law, is a conflict of interest, is just silly, impractical, dangerous, or if it contradicts something he said when campaigning or even moments earlier.

This was a rally in Geneva, IL. People were on both sides of a bridge, waving to cars passing by, many of whom honked their horns. Altogether, at least 100 protesters. Nobody paid any of us to be there.

Trump claims recent airline fatalities are due to DEI. Until these 4 incidents, the last major US airline crash was in 2018 (during Trump v1). If the FAA were preoccupied with DEI, then why have there been few airline fatalities in many years, but several since he began his anti-DEI agenda?

Regarding Gaza, Israel, and the West Bank (WB). Trump proposes to relocate all Gazans to Arab countries. Gazans don't want to leave their home and other countries won't welcome them. How about Gazans move to WB, the Israeli settlements on WB move to Gaza, and WB becomes Palestine?

Rachel Maddow just related an example of Trump's 'autocorrect' gone wild -- deleting a picture of the Enola Gay from an Air Force website. It occured to me to look for towns named Gay. There are at least two, in Michigan and Georgia. So what happens to these towns, or their folks?
