I need y’all to understand that the plan to fix education by eliminating the Department of Education follows the same logic as fixing COVID-19 by not testing people for COVID.

A lot of takes getting baked right now based on polls showing voters are largely dissatisfied with the economy. And maybe there’s merit there. But ask yourself, would your takes be different if voter appraisal of the economy flips to strongly approving at 12:01 PM on 1/20/2025? It’s happened before.

My favorite day of the year! The Kinetic Sculpture Race was amazing, despite the weather. Another of the many reasons I love Baltimore.
