Proclaiming the truth of the text extends to imaginative thinking about what may be happening with the characters in the story or passage we are preaching.

Anakin was right. The Jedi had become corrupt because they had become fundamentalists when it came to the Force. For the Jedi, the Force had become a thing to control.
