This is what always happens at our house when we don't immediately fold the sheets after taking them out of the dryer. 🤣

T had an explody-shed. "Snake soup" fixed that right up. She was good to go and very hungry for a rat today. 🤗

A raw and a cooked shrimp. 🤣

My coworker-friend gifted me a bunch of Panda isopods. I think they approve of their upgraded, larger tank. The smaller one dried out too quickly for them.

Bavmorda got an Easter outfit today! Anyone recognize the pattern on her skirt?

Mr. Not Helpful while I was cleaning the kitchen floor. It's now clean...with several spots of watermarked cat prints, LOL.

Using an old language (esp. one that's good at its job) isn't inherently bad or "outdated". Updating older systems can be good/necessary, but it's not as simple as having AI or teenage techbros (who probably can't code in COBOL) just migrate "old code" to a new language. 1/2

Evergreen, lol.

Oh, the hypocrisy? This would be funny, if it wasn't so f*&^1ng stupid that this where we are in the the U.S. Dislike Biden's pardons - fine! But, come on. Trump can't own his own policies. "Little Marco", this is a big trial ballon to throw you under the bus. Good luck, I guess?

Bavmorda fell over and sustained some skeletal injuries during the second winter storm (the blizzard-y one). A little duct tape and zip tie shoulder/clavicle "surgery" and the full skele-crew are finally back out! 😁 🤣

@archeaids.bsky.social Question for ya - one of Hub's students picked up this piece of chert and brought it to him to "ask the geologist wife" if it's a tool. Looks like natural fracturing to me, but figured I should ask an actual expert. 😉

I find it absoflippinglutely ironically hilarious that the Elmo-stan trolls on the other site are posting parts of an OIG report to "justify" DOGE being really bad at both math and reading spreadsheets.

Moby Dick is quite serious about putting the "bristle" in Bristlenose Pleco. 🤣

Alice Cooper jumped on the counter (surprise, surprise) to "help" me clean it off. The cloth has Seventh Generation disinfectant spray on it....big weirdo doesn't gaf. It's moving...it's a TOY!! 🙄 😂

Bluesky has now caught up with Twit-X on the follow-bots who have big following numbers and no posts with profile pictures of young women. This is n=7 today. Sigh. Sad.

Washer and dryer unhooked for sunroom reconstruction and hubs (who worked pest control) asked me to find the steel wool to plug the hole to deter mice from coming in overnight. He said, "We should stick a cat pee ball in there". I said, "Done, I'll go scoop boxes". 😂🤣

Bavmorda got a programable LED strip upgrade for X-mas that includes a lights reaction to sounds and music setting. It's super obnoxious, but also HILARIOUS.

The four cat pile-up, snuggle-puddle today! Todd (16 year old lady calico), Nessie (9 year old flecked blondie) and the "youngin" 5 year old boys (Alice Cooper the grey tabby and Iggy Pop the red tabby).

Novel Protein #2...T had an explody shed and needed a soak this evening in her food service bath pan. 🤣
November 28, 2024 at 6:41 AM
My folks are coming to Larryville for Turkey Day. I pulled the roasting pan out for dry brining a turkey in the fridge. I walked out of the kitchen and back in 2 min later. I guess we're having a novel protein instead? 🤣
