I’m writing a book. There is nothing else interesting about me. Perhaps the book isn’t all that interesting either!
Me too, I’d love to see Fin in Star Wars again.

I don’t think that’s good enough anymore. Look at X3 and what they do to Halle Berry, good script got her onboard, then They just straight up dumped all her parts. Needs to be a solid contract or he’s be crazy to give them a second chance.

Yeah, I get that Spider-Man will always be big budget, but as much as I as I loved thunderbolts, it would have been nice if the movie was a more grounded smaller action adventure, as opposed to trying to be the next avengers movie.

This movie is amazing! So quotable!
“Dang, we’re in a tight spot!”
“I’m a dapper Dan man!”
“We thought you was a toad!”
“I’m with you feller’s!”

100% agree, and that’s why the movies are a different thing from the comics, and while they take inspiration from them, it’s impossible to be a complete emulation. Anyone arguing: “it’s not like it is in the comics” is simply expecting too much. Just let the movies progress their own story.

I think there’s a small change he would return, but the script and his contract would need to be premium in his favor after how they treated him previously. Which I think is totally fair. His excitement in TFA is part of what revitalized the series, and then they just shat on him.

This is what I’ve wanted from an early age, a connected universe you can fill with stories and returning characters. I don’t want them to stop, but they do need to reevaluate how they do things. Not everything should try to be the next avengers block buster. Tell smart stories over big ones.

Stop protecting pedophiles, that makes you just as bad as one!

The last bit of the movie is a little of a let down, I can see what they were trying to do, it just didn’t really seem to work. Other than that I love this film and the release of 28 years later, has just made this even stronger by comparison.

It’s mine too, and I grew up in the 80’s

For me cool scenes only make a fluid story better, and when you kill off the only bad guy built up without any sort any sort of suspense, the story ends and the fight scene felt superfluous for me. I’m super happy you enjoyed the movie, I still enjoy TFA.

I love most of Rian Johnson’s work, and would advocate for him to get his own Star Wars trilogy, but to come in second and take everything the first movie set up and flush it down the toilet, with no plan to continue the story was a mistake. I remember the whole cinema booing the night we saw it.

Force awakens is my fav Star Wars movie, and I grew up in the 80’s. The last Jedi lost me, threw away all the good will, and I just didn’t care from then on.

The tv stuff has been good in some places though.
