Oh, I very mich agree with investing in more AC. I’m always surprised when people mention the energy mix of the US. Iit’s still 60% based on fossil fuel (2023: www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/f...) so I wouldn’t call that clean in any way.

it would be silly of we had plenty of clean electricity in excess, solar or nuclear. We’re far from here so it’s competing with other usages, including electrifying industries that heavily rely on fossil fuel.
