Sounds like my visit to Best Buy yesterday when I was trying to get help with my iPad that barely holds a charge, purchased there 30 days ago with the extra warranty. I have to make an appointment to freaking talk to anyone who can help. 🤷♀️

Any child, even the teens, who knock on my door while trick or treating gets the same candy - until I run out. And I hope I have enough because I don’t want to be forced to eat the leftovers.

Or take candy to the local elementary school so the teachers can hand out to those kids. Halloween being right next to losing SNAP benefits is going to be a big strain on some families.

And I’m on my way to buy Halloween costumes for two children in my daughter’s fourth grade class who don’t have anything to wear tomorrow. Imagine that all the other kids are in costume and you aren’t. I am getting a bag of groceries to send home with them too.

Please send a donation to your local food bank. It won’t solve the problem but it might keep a child from going to bed hungry. I just gave online. Any amount helps.
