My grandfather took the name Helgeland instead of Endresson. Helgeland was the name of the farm that Endre owned. I suspect there were previous owners of the farm who did the same and other Helgeland farms. Thank you for your response. The search for my ancestors continues!

Been there. Done that. I retired halfway through his first term. It was too ugly to go on.

That is insane! I can drive to my local dispensary and buy as much as I can smoke. I thought Australia was a little more forward looking. Jailing people for what the smoke is beyond the pale. If you find one in your neighborhood, make friends! That’s my advice.
