I've added both individual stickers and a Mountain Badge sweatshirt to my online store – shop.parklore.com!

One of the first things I drew in the early days of Park Lore were "badges" to commemorate the "Disney Mountains." Just for fun, I thought it would be a good time to refresh and upgrade those rough sketches into more refined sticker designs! I think it's a fun collection! #ParkLoreArt

A brand new #LayoutTuesday illustration this week – a peek inside THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS: OFF THE LEASH! If you're still thinking Universal can't deliver in this genre, this ride will prove otherwise. 60+ animatronics, phenomenal gags, so much detail... A home run! #ParkLoreArt

For #LayoutTuesday, here's a look at the before & after of Islands of Adventure's Jurassic Park. The world-building walkthrough TRICERATOPS ENCOUNTER and the high speed VELOCICOASTER both bring guests close to dinosaurs...! Just, y'know, at a different speed #ParkLoreArt parklore.com/main/then-now

Earlier this year, I shared my hand-drawn Build-Out (and accompanying in-depth written walkthrough) of a dreamy, armchair-Imagineered version of Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's one of the projects I'm proudest of.

Before Nemo, there was THE LIVING SEAS. Guests would access this pavilion through a complex, multi-phase introduction that included a pre-show film, a "descent" in underwater Hydrolators, and an arrival at SeaBase Alpha via an Omnimover through the ocean. #ParkLoreArt #LayoutTuesday

The annual TEA / AECOM theme park attendance estimates for 2024 have been published! So of course, I took that as an opportunity to do some data visualization, then write a 3,000 word reflection on 2024's trends. 😎 Check out my thoughts at parklore.com/vault/attendance-2024! #ParkLoreArt

I have been trying to diversify beyond the “X” ecosystem for obvious reasons, so if you happen to be on Instagram (bc meta is so great 🙃), join the fun there I guess! Hahaha

Disneyland’s absolutely spectacular Evil Queen (subject of many deservedly viral moments) seems to be hinting (in character!) that the Queen will be switching from year round to seasonal (Halloween) appearances, ending November 1. tiktok.com/t/ZTMHPVnoS/

This is so great and if it was $59.99 it would be in my cart, but $160?!?! For 12 mini-plush in a cardboard Advent calendar?! 😩

In 2024, Antarctica became home to a ride better fitting SeaWorld's modern focus. PENGUIN TREK is a launched family coaster by tried-and-true Swiss manufacturer B&M. It even includes a brief "dark ride" section. And still ends with penguins.

What *was* notable was that the compact dark ride was part of a sort of "home-grown" Living Land – ANTARCTICA – a sort of immersive (but y'know, SeaWorld-budget-scaled) take on the Wizarding World formula! Later today, we'll see how the dark ride space was re-used... parklore.com/main/then-now!

It was shocking that the tech we all watched bring Mystic Manor to life would make its U.S. debut in a ride at SeaWorld...! But ads showing riders joyfully sliding atop icy, blue-skied glaciers sort of mis-sold what was a fairly claustrophobic, uneven ride looking for a reason to exist...

It's a brand new #LayoutTuesday, featuring SeaWorld Orlando's EMPIRE OF THE PENGUIN! The product of one of SeaWorld's periodic eras of (invariably doomed) ambition, the ride beat Disney & Universal to the trackless LPS dark ride punch! But the results? Well... 😬 #ParkLoreArt

Another #ParkLoreLandline has joined the villa. UNIVERSAL KIDS RESORT in Frisco, Texas will open with seven lands centered on DreamWorks, Illumination, and Nickelodeon properties. What will its landline look like in 25 years? 🤔

I would argue that Pinocchio is probably the least essential of the Fantasyland dark rides... so I'll ask you: what other Fantasyland-flavored dark ride would you like to see in this space, born of that same '83-style design language? Here are some floorplans to play with! 🤓 #armchairimagineering

A new #LayoutTuesday entry this week! PINOCCHIO'S DARING JOURNEY debuted at Tokyo Disneyland in 1983, built in tandem with one in Disneyland's New Fantasyland the same year. Then, it was an Opening Day Original in Paris! #ParkLoreArt

I’m gonna NEEEEEED someone to be honest with me about what’s going on here. Fantasmic with ZERO pyro. Not even a cannon blast for Peter Pan. This happens at least weekly now, and it is totally unacceptable. I love Fantasmic, and my feelings rn? Just end it. Let’s be done.

A major expansion to the Y-axis today with Disneyland's annual ticket price hike. A 1-Day, 1-Park ticket now ranges from $104 to $224. Add up to $90 for Park Hopper access and up to nearly $50 for Lightning Lane access.

It’s actually wild that my Magic Key is blocked out on Saturday when my friends are in town and I can’t upgrade my pass. The only choice is to buy two 1-day tickets for THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS EACH. 😭 This has really gotten out of hand and I’m embarrassed. BUT my motto will be…

NEW! At Hong Kong Disneyland, the JUNGLE RIVER CRUISE was one of just two opening day headliners. Serving as the park's "Rivers of America" (with Tarzan's Treehouse as its Tom Sawyer Island), this unique version ends with a battle of the fire & water gods. #ParkLoreArt #LayoutTuesday

If you catch me at Disneyland wearing my own merch over the weekend pls be sure to say in a loud, clear voice how much you enjoy my work so the friends I’m bringing (for their first visit!) will know I’m not a loser and people actually read my stuff! 🥰

Once the Big Bad Wolf was felled, a "spiritual sequel" arose in its place. VERBOLTEN is a multi-launch family coaster filled with surprises that literally recreates Big Bad Wolf's finale!

There's maybe no more legendary lost coaster than Busch Gardens Williamsburg's BIG BAD WOLF – a suspended, swinging Arrow classic that turned a generation into a rampaging storybook creature terrorizing a German village. #ParkLoreArt #LayoutTuesday
