This is ESPECIALLY true during Halloween when they've consistently offered *FAR* better FrightFest houses and scarezones than you could find at the nearby Great Adventure and, oftentimes, Busch Gardens Williamsburg too.

Don't know who in the industry needs to hear this, but I hope that the entertainment team members at Six Flags America find good homes in the industry. What they're consistently able to pull off with LITERALLY PENNIES is *REALLY* impressive. They've always punched WAY above their weight/budget.

Something like 20 operating hours remain for Six Flags America. 😥

Anyone else planning to make it out for the closing day next weekend?

Scoop: Rocky Mountain Construction is planning to build a 45ft tall Wild Moose prototype at their Idaho headquarters! This will likely be a small test track similar to what RMC built while developing the Raptor. No matter the scale, it will be exciting to see an ACTUAL Wild Moose in action! 🫎

Not this time Chester & Hester, not this time.

The loss of "distraction and diversion-type" attractions like the Liberty Square Riverboat & Tom Sawyer's Island really harm the Magic Kingdom in my opinion, but at least I can understand the financial calculation.

What I find completely unfathomable is the removal of Rivers of America. 🙁

But hey, at least I get to ride Tampa's other Rhino Rally! (RIP 👑)

Out at ZooTampa for my coaster count +1. I think Tasmanian Tiger is the largest Wisdom Rides coaster I've hit and... yikes. It really tracks spectacularly poorly. 😖

For the record, Wind & Waves is very good. Disney does a great job with the Christmas decorations around the lobby at the Vero Beach Resort as well. Underrated stop!

Dining at Disney's least-talked-about, least-appreciated table service restaurant in Florida tonight. Whatever you assume I was going to say, I bet it wasn't this one!

Another DHS hot take: The Twilight Zone IP does very little for Tower of Terror and it's reasonable for Disney to want to stop rights payments.

THAT SAID, the tone, vibe, soul, and general setting & story of the current attraction can *and should* be saved long-term with a new, park-original story.

"Muppets Records Presents Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Starring The Electric Mayhem Band"

Still quite happy with the plans for Rock 'N—just desperately hope that the project includes some preshow restructuring and, most importantly, a fleet of new Vekoma MK1212 trains. New trains would be a GAMECHANGER.

Hot take: Mama Melrose, compared to the sea of other bad Italian restaurants that litter Walt Disney World, really isn't THAT bad. I'd even say it's one of the better DHS table-service options (yes, another low bar). Give me Mama Melrose over Tutto Italia or Brown Derby any day though.

That's the one in the water feature to the north of the resort site, yeah?

Per the Project 294 site plan, it looks like it will survive!

Time to start luring folks over from X with the 🥕!

Our next document release will be publicized exclusively via @bsky.app! Tomorrow should be doable for publication, but no promises!

Monsters Land looks GREAT & I love The Muppets for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. ONLY issue is Muppet*Vision 3D—and the solution is SO SIMPLE.

Disney can make this a 100% positive story by announcing that a remastered Muppet*Vision 3D with an improved theater & new effects will take over Sunset Showcase

PSA: Failing plan reviews is a SUPER common occurrence for any sizable project and is frequently the result of small clerical errors, not any sort of incompetence or the like.

There's a ton to criticize #SixFlagsGreatAdventure for right now, but failing a first-pass site plan review isn't it.

🎶 Silver & Gold,
🎶 Silver & Gold,
🎶 #SeaWorld Sells Santa for Silver & Gold!

And no, this isn't an optional line skip option. Per the SeaWorld website, to see Santa you gotta pay up. Legitimately insane, downright 🤡-like behavior.

Props to SWneedshelp on the 🐦 site for spotting & calling this out!

Update on the #KentuckyKingdom "tower ride" project! Background: bit.ly/4fuK8Qk

Last month the Kentucky Airport Commission gave their stamp of approval for the project on the site next to Thunder Run & Tornado with a final, approved, above ground level (AGL) height of 120 feet!

Very intrigued by the possibility of #SixFlagsGreatAdventure's 2024 project being a Vekoma Super Boomerang. Worried about capacity, but other than that, a large, new-gen Vekoma in the states would be killer!

Found this while digging around in Silver Dollar City's website for last minute Project 2024 leaks. Feeling really called out right about now... 🫣

Well played Silver Dollar City, well played.

LOVE that Dorney Park's newly-announced dive coaster, Iron Menace, features the inclined loop Intim305 theorized in his pre-creation. This thing looks like an EXCELLENT addition for Dorney! 😍

Snapped some of the first photos of Loch Ness Monster running rail replacement at Busch Gardens Williamsburg this morning for BGWFans.

Carowinds isn't familiar with this concept, but this is what's known in the industry as proactive, preventative maintenance.
