If anyone was confused like I was since I thought beetles were most numerous, it seems beetles are a contender for most species while nematodes have the most individuals. They're usually smaller, so you can have more of them in a finite space.

Like, Star Wars might just be a magic swashbuckling space adventure or it might be a commentary on the ethics of governments or rebellions. Maybe it's a tale with the lesson to always do what you know is right. Maybe the tortoise and the hare is just a race and Aesop forgot to write the lesson

That holds even with catastrophic failure. Falling out of the sky (highly unlikely) shouldn't feel too different from cresting that first steep hill/drop on a roller coaster
