Really liked it. VIPs weren’t good. I assume the cate blanchett cameo will lead into an American sequel of sorts. David fincher could make it work I think but I have doubts it will be as good as the Korean original

Finally watching now, 2 thoughts. It suffers inevitably from the burden of expectations and there were some very difficult losses of main characters. You were right, the VIPs stink. The English dialogue is rough
