PM2.5 particles, like those found in forest fires, are the number one cause of cancer and can be avoided by wearing a mask.

Here’s other friends willing to have a dinner party outside on a cold night. They provided a heater and blankets. 🥲 When it got colder I said let’s go in, I’d wear my N95 respirator. They pulled out masks and insisted they’d wear them to make it safer for me, thus I switched to a comfier mask. 😭🙏

So grateful for friends who’ve helped me see over the years that devotion and adoration aren’t exclusive to the realm of romance. Is romance even what we *really* want? We want to feel treasured and to treasure someone, and for it to be real. Flourishing friendship provides that and grows capacity.

Wish I’d known how huge and beautiful love in friendships can be. I’d learned ideal love began with mystery/difficulty and culminated in wild romance/sex. This book blew my mind, opened my heart and changed my life. I highly recommend it for expanding any relationship and strengthening community.

If ur still hanging in and having well-founded concerns about how this could work w/infectious disease know not all the help is physical. Organizational help, goods donation, safe food prep, medical/PPE provision, sharing news etc are HUGE. And mitigation is possible. I masked/ran a HEPA driving.

Honest question for journalists:

Why is it standard for top news outlets to use the term “during the pandemic” in reference to Covid-19 when WHO says it’s still a pandemic? If WHO isn’t the standard then what standard is being used to refer to it in the past tense?

Sometimes can’t believe I get to live in such a pretty place. I love South Carolina.
